We welcome contributions from writers who know entertainment, sport and online culture and can write clear, accurate and engaging pieces for a UK audience.
What We Are Looking For
We are interested in well-researched celebrity biographies, “where are they now” features, ranked lists, and explainers about British TV, football, music and creator culture. Pieces should be original, factual and useful to the reader, typically between 1,000 and 2,000 words.
Guidelines
All submissions must be original and not published anywhere else. Facts must be supported by reliable sources, and any estimates such as net worth must be clearly marked. Write in British English, in a clear and friendly style, and avoid gossip, speculation or content that intrudes on anyone’s private life. We edit every piece for accuracy, style and length, and we reserve the right to decline any submission.
How to Pitch
Email peoplepedia@gmail.com with the subject line “Guest Post Pitch”. Include your proposed topic, a short outline and one or two links to your previous work. We reply to pitches that suit our readers, usually within a week.
